DNB Course in Cardiology & CTVS
DHLI is an approved centre for post-doctoral training in cardiology by the National Board of Examinations, which is an autonomous organization established by the Govt. of India under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The prime objective of the Board is to conduct high uniform standard of Postgraduate and Post-doctoral examinations in various disciplines of modern medicine and allied sciences on an all India basis leading to the award of Diplomate of National Board. The emphasis is on evaluating professional ability and practical application of sound theoretical knowledge in the practice of the specialty a candidate is certified in.The first batch of DNB candidates joined DHLI in 2010.

Post Graduate Diploma in Clinical Cardiology is a two years diploma programme conducted by Indira Gandhi National Open University for MBBS graduates. The programme aims at developing a cadre of non-interventional cardiologists through a 2 year full time rigorous training in top cardiac hospitals in the country. It is expected that after successful completion of this programe, the diploma holder would be able to work as a clinical cardiologist in community hospitals / clinics.

Delhi Heart & Lung Institute has an excellent and rigorous teaching and training programme through which candidates have benefited to remarkable enhance their clinical skills. The third batch has been admitted in 2010.
