Worked with Various Cardiac Superspecialty Hospitals as Director & Head of Department of Cardiology, Senior Consultant (Cardiology) and Unit Head. He spent 25 years in the Indian Armed Forces where he was last posted as Senior Adviser & Professor (Medicine & Cardiology) Army Hospital (Research & Referral) Delhi Cantt.

o    DM (Cardiology) from G B Pant Hospital, Delhi in 1998.

o    Fellow of American College of Cardiology , European society of Cardiology, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and Cardiological Society of India

o    Challenging Cases Award TCT 2006.Thrombosuction as a life saving technique in a case of procedural stent thrombosis during carotid angioplasty of a patient with a sole surviving intracranial supply
